RWJF Announces New Trustees Kelley Hall and Patricia Miller Zollar
Foundation Board welcomes leaders in finance, strategic investment, and philanthropy.
PRINCETON—The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Board of Trustees announced today that it has elected two new Trustees, Kelley Hall, MBA, and Patricia Miller Zollar, MBA, effective October 22, 2025. Together, Hall and Zollar bring a combination of financial acumen, investment expertise, and deep commitment to advancing equitable and impactful philanthropy.
Hall most recently served as chief financial officer at Recreational Equipment, Inc. (REI), the nation’s largest consumer cooperative, prior to her retirement in August 2025.
Zollar is managing director at Neuberger Berman, where she helps lead the firm’s Private Investment Portfolios practice and serves on the Co-Investment and Private Investment Portfolios Investment Committees.

About the New Trustees
Kelley Hall, MBA, is a seasoned executive in strategy, finance and operations. As chief financial officer at REI, she guided the co-op’s financial and operational strategies, supporting a nationwide community of outdoor enthusiasts. During her tenure at REI, her leadership responsibilities included corporate strategy development, sustainability and climate strategy oversight, financial planning and analysis, controllership, supply chain management, and corporate real estate, among others. Prior to joining REI, she served as senior vice president, chief accounting officer and treasurer for Nordstrom, Inc., where she supported efforts to evolve the company’s accounting and treasury operations.
Hall also held a variety of senior finance leadership roles at NIKE, Inc. and Starbucks Corporation. Since 2018, Hall has served on the Board of Trustees for the Seattle Foundation, a community foundation dedicated to building a more vibrant, equitable region in the greater Seattle area. She holds a BA and an MBA from the University of Washington.

Patricia Miller Zollar, MBA, is a leader in private market investments and a champion for diversity and community advancement. At Neuberger Berman, she shapes investment strategy for private portfolios and serves on several investment committees and advisory boards. Her career spans roles at Goldman Sachs and Deloitte & Touche, along with significant nonprofit and philanthropic leadership. Zollar is chairperson emeritus of North Carolina Agriculture and Technical State University’s Board of Trustees, vice chairman of the Apollo Theater, and an active member of boards and foundations focused on philanthropy, education, and the arts.
Zollar also sits on the limited partner advisory boards of several funds. Before rejoining Neuberger Berman in 2004, she was a vice president in the Asset Management Division of Goldman Sachs and began her career as a certified public accountant in the Audit Division of Deloitte & Touche. Zollar received her MBA from Harvard Business School and her BS, with highest distinction, from North Carolina A&T State University. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Council and a former member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board and the National Association of Investment Companies. Zollar serves on the RWJF Board of Trustees’ Investment Committee and the Neuberger Berman Foundation Board of Trustees.
