Carole Salinger joined the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) in 2012, bringing extensive experience in administrative support in academic, hospitality, and corporate environments. In her present role, she manages day-to-day grantmaking operations for the Foundation’s work toward transforming health and healthcare systems, which grants approximately $77 million per year. She also supports the grantmaking process by leading the call and request for proposals process Foundation-wide, as well as troubleshooting the application and review system used at RWJF.
Previously, Carole’s varied career included teaching high school in Freehold, N.J.; being a director and teacher in a private, adult business school; acting as an event planner at various golf country clubs in central Jersey; and a member of various sales teams at Merck and Pfizer pharmaceutical companies.
Carole earned her BS from Rider University in education.
