Cathy Goldsmith joined the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) in 2007, bringing her extensive experience in providing administrative support in non-profit, academic, and corporate environments. In her present role, she manages day-to-day grantmaking operations for the Foundation’s work toward healthy children and families and the Policy department. Her work supports RWJF’s vision of building a Culture of Health in which everyone has a fair and just opportunity to be as healthy as possible.
Previously, Cathy’s varied career included administrative positions with the American Red Cross of Central New Jersey, Rutgers University, and Georgian Court College. She also served as conference coordinator for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Inc., and as advertising and production coordinator for University Communications, a subsidiary of Ziff-Davis Publishing Company.
Cathy earned her BA from Rutgers University. She completed teacher certification coursework (K–8th), and an internship with the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts/Museum of American Art in Philadelphia.
She enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and traveling.
