Community-Led Research is No Longer a “Nice-to-Have”
When communities lead research, their local knowledge informs powerful solutions for advancing health and racial equity. In this spirit, we are developing the Health Equity Research for Action program.
From food and employment, to housing, safety, and care for families and children, Trenton organizations are working hard to fill the gaps that exist, collaborating with each other to identify missing pieces, and building solutions to eliminate them.
Collective wellbeing is both aspirational and operational. It is driven by a shared vision that generates actions to help people and communities not just survive, but thrive.
Democracy is at its best when people come together to explore shared values and address shared challenges. And when we do, it becomes clear we have far more in common than what divides us.
