Helen Mathew joined the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) in 2005. With her knowledge of administration in the for-profit and non-profit sectors, she employs her skills in helping to fund a wide array of research and initiatives that support the Foundation’s vision of building a Culture of Health. In this role, she guides applicants and program officers in navigating the Foundation’s grantmaking process, and serves as a primary coordinator for her program team’s work in moving grantmaking from concept to award.
Previously, as part of the RWJF National Program Affairs team, Helen supported the director, vice president, administrator coordinator, and team members. Earlier, she worked in administrative positions with: the American Cash Exchange, Pennington, New Jersey; JCB International Credit Card Company Ltd. in New York City; the Columbia University, School of Journalism Dean’s Office and the College for Human Services in New York City.
Helen holds a BA in business. An avid reader, she also loves to travel and greatly enjoys participating in athletic activities and spending time with her family.
