State Action on Insurance Market Reforms Dataset
example
This data, originally reported by the Commonwealth Fund in February 2013, tracks new state action—such as legislation or regulation—on a subset of protections under the ACA that went into effect in 2014 for every U.S. state.
This dataset is current as of February 2013.
The data highlights whether states chose to comport with a variety of ACA protections through existing law, guidance, legislation, regulation, or form review. A subset of the protections examined include the ACA’s guidance on dependent coverage to age 26 and preexisting conditions.
