Health Reform Monitoring Survey (HRMS)

HRMS provides information on implementation issues under the Affordable Care Act and changes in health insurance coverage and related health outcomes.

HRMS reports assess a variety of health and health care factors including health insurance coverage, health care access and affordability, and health status, among others—all of which will provide valuable insight into the implementation of the ACA.

In many instances, the questions utilized in the HRMS are based on those used in federal government surveys. In addition to a core set of questions that are asked each quarter, each round of the HRMS, starting with the second quarter of 2013, includes supplemental questions on particular ACA policy issues.
