Issue Briefs and Documentary Audiotapes Help Policy-Makers and Providers Better Understand End-of-Life Care Issues
From 1998 to 2006, staff at Spann Communications produced and disseminated a series of issue briefs and documentary audiotapes that profile promising new policies and practices in end-of-life care. The audience included state policy-makers, clinicians, academics, reformers in the field and grassroots advocates.
The project was a part of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's (RWJF) Targeted End-of-Life Projects Initiative, which supported solicited and unsolicited projects to improve care at the end of life.
Key Results
A series of 25 issue briefs entitled State Initiatives in End-of-Life Care.
A set of four 40-minute audiotapes entitled Heart-to-Heart: Improving Care for the Dying through Public Policy.
