Grieving Children Need Support to Stay Resilient and Avoid Destructive Behavior
The Center for Grieving Children, Teens and Families in Philadelphia expanded its service, outreach and training programs in 2001–2002.
- The center added four free support groups: for preschoolers ages 3.5 to 5; children ages 8 to 10; teenagers ages 13 to 18; and young adults ages 18 to 24.
- It expanded its community education and outreach programs for professionals and hosted a day-long conference for professionals who work with grieving people.
- It finalized development of its website and created a newsletter, Center Notes.
