About This Collection

Since 1972, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation has been devoted exclusively to improving the health of the nation, building fields from nurse practitioners to tobacco control to end-of-life care.

The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Anthology is a biennial book series that disseminates what we have learned from various aspects of our grantmaking.

The books, which are produced by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, provide an in-depth look into the Foundation's work improving the nation's health and health care through the perspectives of leading health journalists, as well as experts from universities and within the Foundation.
