Sesame Street in Communities

Connecting caregivers with community leaders.

This program builds on Sesame Street's almost 50-year commitment to addressing kids’ developmental, physical, and emotional needs.

Sesame Street in Communities provides hundreds of bilingual, multi-media tools to help kids and families enrich and expand their knowledge during the early years of birth through six, a critical window for brain development. These resources engage kids and adults in everyday moments and daily routines—from teaching early math and literacy concepts, to encouraging families to eat nutritious foods, to serious topics such as divorce and food insecurity.

By connecting caregivers with community leaders, Sesame Street in Communities is building a circle of care to help kids—especially the most vulnerable—get off to a strong and healthy start.
