Kristine Nasto, director of Foundation Services for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, oversees RWJF’s daily operations such as travel and meeting services, dining, audio/visual, fitness center, shipping/receiving, reception, duplicating and mail services and purchasing. Her office coordinates space planning and management, arranges special events, and supports conference room services. Kristine joined RWJF in 1994 as a help desk specialist and then became assistant manager of Information Technology. In 2000, she served as special project coordinator in developing the e-strategy initiatives, which moved the Foundation toward increased online communications and grantmaking. In 2001, she moved to the Health Group as administrative coordinator, working with program staff to balance the Health Group’s workload, increase efficiency, and reorganize RWJF’s support staff sector. She views her work as contributing to “the tremendous impact the Foundation has on health and healthcare, especially for children and future generations.”
Prior to coming to the Foundation, Kristine served as coordinator of school state partnership programs for the Optical Data Corporation. She received a B.A. in communications from the State University of New York, New Paltz College.
Born in New Jersey, Kristine now resides in Hamilton, N.J. with her husband, Jim, and her two children. Active in her community, she coaches softball and cheerleading, serves in her church, and enjoys walking and fitness activities.
