Mia Sedwick, M.A., is a communications associate for the Addiction Prevention and Treatment Team, which aims to improve the quality of treatment for those with substance use disorders and addictions.
Prior to her current activities, she focused her energy on project Connect, an effort which is successfully building relationships between RWJF grantees and their members of Congress through visits to Capitol Hill, briefings by RWJF grantees and Congressional site visits.
Sedwick earned an M.A. in neuroscience from the University of Hartford in Connecticut and a B.A. in psychology and English from Rutgers University in New Jersey.
