On Monday, March 23, 1:30 p.m.–3 p.m. EDT, Michael L. Dennis, Ph.D., of Chestnut Health Systems will provide an overview of the difference between screening and assessment, provide information about the Global Appraisal of Individual Needs (GAIN) assessment instrument, and share data specific to sites of Reclaiming Futures, an RWJF-funded initiative that improves drug and alcohol treatment for teens in juvenile court.
Dennis is a senior research psychologist and director of the GAIN Coordinating Center at Chestnut Health Systems. His specialty areas include methodology, program evaluation, measurement, randomized field experiments, drug abuse treatment, adolescent treatment, Global Appraisal of Individual Needs (GAIN), technology transfer and information dissemination.
