The purpose of this project is to allow Glide Health Services (GHS) to fully develop components of its electronic health-records system. These components include staffing to maintain service levels during the transition to the new system; staff training on laboratory and pharmacy interfaces with collaborating institutions; new capabilities in mental-health and substance-abuse tracking and date reporting; and HIV services among GHS's high-risk population. GHS partners with the University of California, San Francisco, School of Nursing and the Saint Francis Memorial Hospital. It is a Federally Qualified Health Center, a designated Health Care for the Homeless site, and the major provider of services for the homeless in San Francisco.
