Nurse Navigator Fellows in Pittsburgh Developed Projects to Improve Patient Care and Patient Safety

The Jewish Healthcare Foundation of Pittsburgh designed the Nurse Navigator Fellowship as a one-year pilot project to train nurses in southwestern Pennsylvania to collect and analyze data and improve patient outcomes at the point of care.

Increasing Satisfaction by Providing Headphones and Ear Plugs to Patients

Staff began offering patients headphones and/or ear plugs during their admission in order to minimize the noise disturbance on the unit.
