University of Cincinnati Uses Achieving Competence Today (ACT) Program to Change Its Curriculum

From 2006 to 2009, RWJF expanded ACT into a program of its own: Achieving Competency Today. Six teaching hospitals participated, including the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

Evaluation of Partnerships for Quality Education

The evaluation of Partnerships for Quality Education (PQE) consisted of a survey of 63 project directors in order to define the specific managed care competencies and related patient care tasks that residence program directors expected residents to learn as a result of the new training.

Efforts to Downsize Residency Training Programs Get Technical Assistance

From 1997 to 2001, the Greater New York Hospital Foundation provided technical assistance to 17 New York teaching hospitals participating in an RWJF demonstration project to reduce the size of their residency training programs.

University of Missouri Introduces Rural Scholars Program and Revamps Curriculum Under Health of the Public Project

Researchers at the University of Missouri - Columbia, established a Rural Scholars Program and introduced curricular changes, including multidisciplinary opportunities for medical, nursing, and health services management students.
