Researchers Study State-Level Tobacco Industry Lobbying

The Common Cause Education Fund produced and disseminated 12 state reports that document the tobacco industry's campaign contributions and lobbying efforts and the success or failure of tobacco-control efforts at the state level from February 2002 through July 2003.

Group Fights Back Against Alcohol Abuse in Native American Community in New Mexico

Northwest New Mexico Fighting Back worked to reduce the demand for alcohol and other drugs in San Juan, McKinley and Cibola counties, a 15,000 square mile region with a large Native American population.
