Frail Elders in Sherman, Texas, Get Rides to Appointments, Companionship

During 1996 and 1997, staff at the Texoma Senior Citizens Foundation developed a program that primarily provided transportation to frail elders in the Sherman, Texas, area.

"Friends for Life" are Friends Indeed for Homebound Elderly in Waco, Texas

Friends for Life, a home visiting program in Waco, Texas formed partnerships with 30 congregations, adding to the dozen faith communities already affiliated with it.
