Effectiveness of a Community Health Worker Intervention Among African American and Latino Adults with Type 2 Diabetes

This article reports the results from a randomized controlled trial to help African Americans and Latinos with type 2 diabetes improve diabetes self-management. These populations are more likely to have poorly controlled glycemic levels than non-Latino Whites.
