RWJF is committed to tackling one of the most urgent threats to the health of our children and families—childhood obesity. Our goal is to reverse the childhood obesity epidemic by 2015.
Although tobacco use has decreased, it is the leading cause of death in the United States. Implementing a combination of policy changes including clean indoor air laws, higher per-pack taxes, and cessation efforts are proven to reduce tobacco use and exposure to secondhand smoke.
