Why the VA Embraces OpenNotes

OpenNotes, supported by RWJF's Pioneer Portfolio, enables patients to see their doctors' visit notes, making them true partners in their own care. The VA is employing OpenNotes on a large scale, enabling more than a million veterans to view or download their own medical notes.
