What if I can't afford insurance?

Many people can get financial help toward paying their health insurance premiums and co-pays. In fact, an individual earning up to about $46,000 and a family of four earning up to about $94,000 may be eligible. People with low incomes will also get help paying their out-of-pocket costs.

In states that are expanding Medicaid, many people may find they are newly eligible for low-cost or free coverage.
