Informing Healthier Policies

Advancing Smarter Policies for Healthier Communities

In 2011, the National Research Council (NRC) provided first-ever guidance to decision-makers on ways to address the potential health impact of proposed projects and policies in sectors outside of health and health care at the federal, state, tribal and local levels, including the private sector.
