Thousands of visitors come to rwjf.org to read up on the most up-to-date and comprehensive research supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Each year we identify a group of 20 articles, based on their popularity on rwjf.org, and ask you to trim that list to the five Most Influential Research Articles—the "Final 5." The 2012 Year in Research campaign was our most successful since we first launched the poll in 2008. We gratefully acknowledge the nominees—our grantees—for their remarkable contributions to each of their respective fields of research, and to the research and evaluation community at large.
You can read more about the winners and their personal stories below in interviews about what inspired them to pursue their research, and the impact they have seen thus far. We also recommend you read our interview with David C. Colby, vice president of Research and Evaluation at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, in which he explains the value of the winners' research.
