Risa Lavizzo-Mourey, M.D., M.B.A., president and CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, spoke at the 15th annual Wharton Leadership Conference on June 22, 2011.

The conference, co–sponsored by the Wharton School's Center for Human Resources and Center for Leadership and Change Management, is an annual one-day event. This year's theme was Leading in a Reset Economy and Uncertain World; the event explored the personal, organization, and cultural models required for leading in the "new normal" and increasingly global world. Lavizzo-Mourey's remarks focused on her experience with and views of leadership and leading from behind.
