Risa Lavizzo-Mourey, M.D., M.B.A., president and CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, delivered the keynote at the opening of the 100th Green House on September 27, 2011.
This event was held in West Orange, New Jersey at the site of the 100th Green House. Lavizzo-Mourey discussed the results of a new survey on what worries people who are in – or nearing – retirement, and explained that Green House homes provide elders with a high quality of life and quality of care in a setting that feels like a real home. The opening of the 100th site, she explained, “helps us cross the line separating where we started from where we’re going.”
