Dwayne C. Proctor, director of the RWJF Childhood Obesity team, spoke before the Healthy Congregations Conference 2010 in Southaven, Miss. He urged faith-based groups to think broadly about the work of their health ministries, which he said are uniquely positioned to be “leading catalysts in helping to reverse our country’s epidemic of childhood obesity.”
