Technology Solutions to Make Patient Care Safer and More Efficient

This product was provided to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation by the grantee organization, American Academy of Nursing Inc.

This grant supports the final phase of the Technology Drill Downs (TD2) study that identified potential technological solutions to problems in the hospital work environment. The purpose of this project is to: (1) complete the final data analysis; (2) distribute study results and provide technical assistance to the American Organization of Nurse Executive's network of Transforming Care at the Bedside hospitals that enables these sites to conduct their own TD2 process; (3) disseminate TD2 findings through written publications, the media, and other forums comprised of vendors, hospital executives, and policy makers; and (4) convene a meeting to share study findings with experts and industry leaders.
