The efforts of Covering Kids & Families® (CKF) to increase enrollment of eligible children and families utilized a simplification and coordination strategy. By simplifying the application and renewal process, CKF aimed to increase enrollment in public health insurance. Evaluators found that both grantees and state officials felt positively about the influence of CKF on Medicaid and SCHIP enrollment processes.
