RWJF is committed to evaluating its major investments. Each year we spend approximately $20 million on program evaluation which are a cornerstone of our efforts to learn from our work.
RWJF generates Program Results Reports on almost all of its projects after they are closed, as well as Progress Reports and Program Results Reports on its national programs.
Published biannually, this book series written by award-winning journalists, RWJF staff members and external evaluators, highlights what RWJF has learned from various aspects of its grantmaking.
In this series, independent evaluators take a look at RWJF's grantmaking in a targeted area and the impact it had on the field.
The Assessment Report presents an examination of our performance as an organization. The report incorporates our performance indicators and commissioned surveys of our grantees, health policy experts and the public to discover the most pressing health and health care issues facing our nation, their perspectives about our work, and the ways they utilize the knowledge gained from our programs and research.
