Safety, patient-centered care, teamwork and collaboration, evidence-based practice, quality improvement, and informatics are the six prelicensure competencies across schools of nursing in the U.S.
From January 2010 through November 2011, 662 prelicensure programs were represented among the eight institutes in a 2.5-day interactive program implementing a train-the-trainer approach.
