The Foundation's program, Project HealthDesign: Rethinking the Power and Potential of Personal Health Records, was designed to expand a vision of personal health records and encourage the market to develop products that meet the diverse needs of patients. This project will provide wrap-up communications support for Project HealthDesign (PHD) as this national program closes out in June 2013. Deliverables will include events, briefings, and a wrap-up report for policymakers and other stakeholders, as well assistance in compiling PHD reports, comments, and blog posts from both phases of the project. This support will be provided by GYMR Public Relations, the firm that has provided ongoing communications support for PHD in the past. Goals of the support include communicating the results to broaden understanding of PHD's implications for patients and providers, and stimulating industry investment in the infrastructure necessary to support this type of personal health information.
