Rebuilding and sustaining the work of the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids

This funding will support the Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids (CTFK ) in improving health and prevention by driving down tobacco use and strengthening the tobacco-control movement through: (1) strategic advocacy and coordinated action with partners in tobacco control; (2) new partnerships; (3) communications to key audiences; (4) dissemination of data; and (5) strategic opportunities. This project will also leverage funding and resources from key national partners--the American Cancer Society (ACS) and the American Heart Association (AHA)--to reinvigorate the tobacco-control movement at the state and local levels, and provide matching funds to leverage funding from new partners to support CTFK itself and its work in the national tobacco-control movement. A goal of this work is to increase advocacy for tobacco control, but the Campaign will not use Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF ) funds for lobbying.
