Engaging physicians for recommendations to reduce the growth in health care spending

As part of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Enterprise Level Cost Containment Initiative (CCIN) to highlight the urgency of rising health care costs and identify practical strategies and policy recommendations to curb spending growth, GYMR Public Relations will help the Foundation work with a group of physicians, both virtually and in person, to gather their recommendations and reactions and to amplify their collective voice. RWJF has engaged GYMR to provide communications and planning support for a physician network and an in-person meeting. The deliverables will include: (1) a maintained online site to enable interaction among the participants; (2) a virtual meeting; (3) an in-person meeting; (4) a set of meeting minutes and an overview report for each meeting; (5) regular updates on the activity of, participation in, and comments from the virtual network; and (6) three written pieces for public distribution.
