This project will describe the business case for interprofessional education and collaborative practice from the perspectives of both higher education leadership in academic health professional schools and practice-system leadership in hospitals and large delivery systems. The project team will use the business-case methodology developed by Harvard Business School to describe the business case. The team will widely disseminated the deliverables, including publications in professional journals and a report for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation website, to key stakeholders in education, practice and policy to advance the interprofessional education and practice agenda in the United States.
