Creating evidence-based practice interventions that communities can adapt to improve the well-being of children and families

Under this grant, the UCLA Global Center for Children and Families (the Center) will develop evidence-based practices and skills for promoting healthy behaviors in parents and children that will be accessible through PracticeWise, an online training resource known for synthesizing and diffusing knowledge and practices from evidence-based interventions addressing children's mental health issues. The target audiences will be school districts and community providers. The deliverables will include continued diffusion of the Center's coaching models and other skill-building work throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District, and development of an online training curriculum, delivery model, information service, and ongoing quality improvement model to disseminate the work outside Los Angeles.
