Increasing public health and safety by building connectivity between correctional and community health, 2011

This contract supports Rosenberg & Associates in promoting the Community Oriented Correctional Health Services (COCHS) model to foster connectivity between the health care provided in correctional and community settings through demonstrated best practices and policies. The COCHS model promotes a proven approach in the correctional and public health fields. Deliverables will include continuing to (1) provide technical assistance and advice to jurisdictions interested in promoting connectivity between correctional and community health care; and (2) facilitate working group meetings and broader dialogue with federal agencies and key national stakeholders.
