Building public health law competence and capacity through network development and multidisciplinary conferences

The Foundation believes an active, engaged community of practitioners, leaders and advocates of law and public health, willing to work together to use the law to protect and improve health, is essential. This grant will support the Foundation's efforts to build the field of public health law by reintroducing a national convening in 2010, supporting a community of practitioners and others interested in how the law can assist population health, and providing useful, targeted materials to share lessons and findings.
