Technical assistance and direction for RWJF's Smoke-Free Families program

The Foundation's program, Smoke-Free Families: Innovations to Stop Smoking During and Beyond Pregnancy, was designed as a multi-component strategy to improve current clinical practice and advance the field into the next generation of smoking cessation techniques for childbearing women.This grant provides continued technical assistance and direction support for the Program. The major responsibilities of the Smoke-Free Families National Program Office (NPO) in 2006-2007 will be to continue to coordinate the dissemination activities with the Dissemination Office, manage the Smoke-Free Families research initiative, provide technical assistance to remaining grantees, and develop a journal supplement presenting major research and dissemination results.
