Planning for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Commission to Build a Healthier America to stimulate debate on the socioeconomic gaps in health

To support the RWJF Commission on Health in America, the University of California, San Francisco, will build the knowledge base essential to describe accurately the problem of the socioeconomic gaps in health, the underlying causes and broad policy interventions that may ameliorate these disparities in health outcomes. This will include conducting literature reviews, identifying and assessing policy interventions, developing and reviewing internal briefing materials for commissioners, drafting and reviewing external documents to be authored by the Commission, and identifying staff experts to present to the Commission.
