Creating and managing the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Commission to Build a Healthier America
To support the RWJF Commission on Health in America, George Washington University will have overall responsibility for achieving all phases of the project and for direct commission support. This includes housing and managing the staff, educating and supporting the Commission and working effectively with all partners to ensure smooth operations of the Commission. David Williams, M.D., Ph.D., Florence Sprague Norman and Laura Smart Norman professor of public health, professor of African and African American studies and of sociology, Department of Society, Human Development and Health, Harvard University School of Public Health, serves as staff director for the project. Wilhelmine Miller, associate research professor, The Center for Health and Health Care in Schools, George Washington University, serves as project director.
