Southern Rural Access Program - Revolving Loan Fund

The Foundation's Southern Rural Access Program was designed to increase access to health care services in eight rural underserved states.The purpose of this project is to make primary health care in rural areas economically viable. The Revolving Loan Fund provides the financial capital and expertise to build the infrastructure for improving access to care in Louisiana's most underserved and depressed rural communities. The project will: (1) finance innovative ways to improve access by increasing both the number and accessibility of health-related resources; and (2) improve the economic stability of rural communities.
