Technical assistance and direction for the State Forums Partnership Program
The Foundation's State Forums Partnership Program was designed to establish a technical assistance center to support the adoption of the New Jersey Policy Forums on Health and Medical Care project in up to eight states. The purpose of the State Forums Partnership Program (SFPP) is to supply state legislators and other key policy decision makers with impartial information on a broad range of health policy issues by convening state policymakers to discuss current topics in health care. The Program is creating a national network of nonprofit organizations committed to helping state policymakers explore complex health policy issues. Building upon its experience of the past three years, the SFPP National Program Office will provide grantees with technical assistance on program development and health policy analysis. They will also provide some technical assistance to non-grantee, state-level forum programs.
