Creating video documentation of the Pittsburgh Regional Healthcare Initiative

This project represents one of the first comprehensive place-based healthcare quality improvement efforts in the nation. This innovative program has gathered the regional leaders in healthcare, business, and the community with the aim of improving the quality of healthcare via strong collaborative efforts. Due to limited information regarding the process of implementing this initiative, it has been recommended that the process be documented to assist in evaluation and replication. The purpose of this grant is to support the development of a video that captures the process and activities as the initiative unfolds and evolves. It is expected that this video will provide lessons to the Foundation and others from this unique effort to improve health care quality.
