The Foundation's SmokeLess States: National Tobacco Policy Initiative is a program that supports development and implementation of comprehensive statewide strategies to reduce tobacco use through education, treatment, and policy initiatives.This grant supports the Coalition for a Tobacco Free Hawaii in focusing on: (1) reducing exposure to secondhand smoke by increasing smoke-free workplaces and public areas; (2) fostering changes in insurance coverage for tobacco dependence treatment; and (3) ensuring the settlement (MSA) funds remain allocated for tobacco control and are used appropriately.
