Cash & Counseling

The Foundation's Cash & Counseling program was designed to provide an expansion of a proven model of consumer-directed supportive services to more states, allowing thousands more older adults and people with disabilities to have choice and control over the care they receive.This grant will be used to continue the enrollment phase of the IndependentChoices Project. The Arkansas Department of Human Services Division of Aging and Adult Services will manage day-to-day activities including marketing, enrollment, coordination of data exchanges with Mathematica Policy Research, the counseling/fiscal agencies, Medicaid personal care agencies, and the Arkansas Medicaid fiscal agent.
