Technical assistance and direction for the Cash & Counseling Program

The Foundation's Cash & Counseling program was designed to provide an expansion of a proven model of consumer-directed supportive services to more states, allowing thousands more older adults and people with disabilities to have choice and control over the care they receive.Under this grant, the University of Maryland Center on Aging and the Boston College Graduate School of Social Work will perform three major functions: coordination and direction, technical assistance to the states (Arkansas, New Jersey, and Florida), and dissemination of key materials.
