Seminars on identifying issues facing health care purchasers and providers
This grant supports a series of three seminars at which purchasers and providers will identify and discuss how purchasing incentives can be used to achieve more efficient and effective health care. The seminars will convene executives from firms that are significant health care purchasers, along with physicians, managers of health care institutions, and insurance and managed care executives, to identify the measures purchasers and providers must take to promote quality improvements in health care.
