Case studies of cities' approaches to reduce youth violence

The purpose of this project is to complete two detailed case studies of large cities which have made significant efforts to reduce violence. The studies will describe major components in the cities' efforts, including leadership, intervention strategy, and progress to date. These two studies will be used to augment a larger project intended to identify best practices in violence prevention, then disseminate that information to decision makers in every city in the U.S.
